The Reggio Emilia Approach is an innovative and inspiring approach to early childhood education valuing the child as strong, capable and resilient; rich with wonder and knowledge. Every child brings with them deep curiosity and potential and this innate curiosity drives their interest to understand their world and their place within it.
The aim of this approach is to teach children how to be useful in everyday life. The programme is based on the principles of respect, responsibility, and community through exploration and discovery in a supportive and enriching environment based on the interests of the children.

Additional Educational and Enrichment Programmes
Bloomberry has incorporated Alphabet Zoo (for children age 18 months to 3 years old) and Jolly Phonics (for children age 4 to 6 years old) into our curriculum. Through our professional in-house trainers, children will learn to read, write and spell in a fun way.
Alphabet Zoo for Bloomies teaches children to recognise letters and its sounds through pictorial aids, music and song. Through songs, children develop phonemic awareness. Alphabet Zoo characters add on the element of fun to this programme.
Jolly Phonics (8 levels) for Bloomers helps children develop a life-long love for reading and writing. It also equips children with skills before they begin their literacy journey. It prepares children with school readiness skills and enhances their ability to spell.
Chinese Speech and Drama Enrichment Programme encourages children to develop a love for the Chinese language, mastering the skill as confident speakers of the language. It uses music and movements and interactive story-telling with dramatisation to better capture the interest and attention of the children.
Small-group Swimming Enrichment Programme by professional coaches allows children to better develop their gross motor skills. Through structured lessons and skills training, children learn about water safety, develop confidence in and around water, as well as different swimming styles (eg. free-style, breast stroke, etc.)
